|Project scope||PAFSE will contribute to community preparedness to reduce the risk of communicable disease and epidemics. It will do so by establishing partnerships between schools, universities, non-formal education providers, enterprises and civil society organisations and engaging them in efforts to enrich STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) education to address public health issues, an understanding of microbes, epidemics, epidemiology of communicable diseases, and the value of disease prevention measures in protecting communities. Novel educational provisions engage students aged 12-15 in a blend of formal and informal educational activities using digital educational materials and online teaching-learning environments to develop their competence on project management and collection/analysis/making sense of scientific evidence.|
β) “LOOP – Empowering teachers personal, professional and social continuous development through innovative peer-induction programmes”, submitted under the call for proposals EACEA/38/2019 launched in the framework of the Erasmus+ programme, Key-Action 3, “European policy experimentations in the field of Education and Training led by high-level public authorities”.
The LOOP proposal aims to develop, test and validate a teacher’s induction programme, co-developed by teachers and based in intergenerational and interdisciplinary approaches, in Portugal, Spain, Italy, Slovenia, Croatia, Germany and Greece. The support will be provided in the communication and dissemination of the project key activities and results, namely between teachers, school managers, initial teacher training trainers and teachers, students willing to become teachers, and other relevant target groups, with a special focus in the activities related to:
Co-design of the new induction programmes
Co-design of the new mentors programmes
Piloting of the new induction programmes in field trials
Piloting of the new mentors programmes in field trials
Επίσης, επιλέχθηκαν και ανέλαβαν τα νέα τους καθήκοντα τα μέλη του Δ.Σ. της ΠΑΠΕΔΕ:
– Πολυξένη Μπίστα, ως Σύμβουλος Α΄ του Ι.Ε.Π.
– Κων/νος Αποστολόπουλος ως μέλος του Εθνικού Οργανισμού Εξετάσεων (Φυσικών Επιστημών) και
– Στυλιανός Καραγιάννης ως αναπληρωματικό μέλος του Εθνικού Οργανισμού Εξετάσεων (Τεχνολογικών Επιστημών).
